is an anthology horor movie from Indonesia which was released in 2008.
This
movie is performed by Dinna Olivia, Fauzi Baadila, Marcella Zalianty,
Shanty,
Lukman Sardi, Eva Celia Latjuba, and Mike Muliadro. The premier of this
movie
is released in Indonesia International
Fantastic Film Festival (iNAFFF) 2008 on November 14th-23rd in
Jakarta, and
in Bandung on November 28th-30th which was held by Blitzmegaplex. Many
kinds of
horor movie were offered in the festival, including Takut
which becomes one of many eyecatching movies.
Takut was made under the direction of Komodo Films
and is a
short horor movie compilation from seven movie directors who produced
six movie
segments and an anthology. The short movies are directed by Rako
Prijanto, Riri
Riza, Ray Nayoan, Robby Ertanto, Raditya Sidharta, and The Mo Brothers
(Kino
Stamboel and Timothy Tjahjanto). Takut
began to be released Internationally in International Film Festival
Rotterdan
2009.
Shaun of the Dead
Shaun of the
Dead is a romantic comedy. It has zombie theme and released in 2004
(April 9th
in the United Kingdom, and September 24th in the United States). Its
script was
written by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, directed byEdgar Wright and
starred by
Simon Page and Nick Frost. Though the tittle is originated from Dawn of the Dead movie by George Romero,
this movie is not a direct parody like Scary
Movie, it is more to a tribute to zombie horor movies as there are
many
relationships between this movies and zombie horror movies. Some cameos
in this
movie are Chris Martin and Jon Buckland from Coldplay.
The whole movie
was made in London, esspecially in Ealing Studios, including Working
Title
Films and StudioCanal Production house. In the first view in United
States,
Shaun got US$ 3,3million, getting 8
grades in the box office though it only viewed in 607 theaters. In the
United
Kingdom, this movie got £ 1,6million from 307 theaters in the first week
of its
first release, and it got £ 6,4million in the middle of May.
In 2004, Total Film magazine wrote Shaun in grade 49
in The Greates British Films of All Time.
